Spill Response Supervisor

SWAT Consulting Inc. is seeking a Spill Response Supervisor to join our Leduc and/or Grande Prairie offices. Other locations across Western Canada may be considered for a hybrid model for the right candidate. The successful candidate will bring strong technical and field experience. The position is approximately 85% field based with a focus in site supervision for spill response.
This role is ideal for a field-focused environmental professional who is comfortable leading time-sensitive spill response and remediation work in dynamic field conditions. Spill Response Supervisors play a key role in coordinating initial containment and recovery, directing contractors, documenting site conditions, supporting regulatory/client communication, and helping move response work safely and efficiently from initial response through assessment, remediation, and reporting.
Technical Advisor - Remediation/Reclamation

SWAT Consulting Inc. is seeking a Technical Advisor to support our growing Remediation/Reclamation project team. The position can be based out of any of our offices located in Leduc, Calgary, or Grande Prairie, Alberta. We currently work with a hybrid model, with a split of working from home and working from the office. The position is expected to be 100% office-based with a focus on asset retirement and liability management projects, primarily assessment and remediation work types. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in the environmental industry and ideally 5+ years of experience in project management and a technical advisement role. The role requires the candidate to be available after-hours and on weekends on an as needed basis to support the overall project team, depending on project workload.

SWAT Consulting Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor/Intermediate Environmental Consultant to join our team. While the majority of the work will be within central Alberta, travel to southern or northern Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and/or Manitoba may be required periodically. The appropriate candidate will bring strong technical and field experience; the position is approximately 90% field based with focus on spill response as well as support for environmental assessment, reclamation, and remediation portfolios. The role requires the candidate to be available for rotating on-call shifts on weekends and evenings for emergency spill response.
Senior Wildlife Biologist

SWAT Consulting Inc. is seeking a Senior Wildlife Biologist with a strong record of providing high quality wildlife assessments, mitigation planning, regulatory support, and environmental monitoring services in Alberta and across Western Canada. The appropriate candidate has developed strong technical and analytical skills, sound professional judgment, and the ability to foster those skills in others. They will bring experience leading wildlife baseline programs, pre-disturbance and pre-construction assessments, wildlife sweeps, species at risk surveys, habitat assessments, construction monitoring, and associated regulatory deliverables. The position will include a mix of office and field responsibilities, with field requirements varying seasonally depending on project demands.
